ABOUT BATTLE GOLF

Battle Golf is a frantic head-to-head golf contest played from a rocky ledge. The target hole may appear on shifting islands or even a passing whale, and the first player to land a ball wins the exchange.

Selecting launch angle and strength are separate timed actions, making the game feel closer to a quick reflex duel than a traditional golf simulation. You can also hit the rival with a ball to interrupt them.

HOW TO PLAY BATTLE GOLF

  1. Watch the revolving aiming arrow, press once to lock its angle, then press again when the power bar reaches the desired strength.
  2. Compete against the computer or a second player.

Controls

  • Solo control: Mouse or Space
  • Player 1: A
  • Player 2: L
  • Choose angle: First press
  • Choose power: Second press

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Use the second press to favor a controlled landing rather than maximum distance when the opening is narrow.
  • A shot at the opposing player is useful only when the resulting stun costs them a better attempt.
  • For distant holes, a high angle near 60 degrees brings the ball down steeply rather than skimming over water.
  • Against a moving island or unusual hole, time the angle for where the destination will be when the ball lands.
  • For a hole beyond water or on a moving island, a steep descending arc often beats a low skip across the surface.

FAQ

What happens on the first timing press?

You stop the sweeping angle indicator, locking the trajectory for the upcoming hit.

What does the second press decide?

It chooses power as the gauge moves, determining how far the golf ball travels.

How do two people control Battle Golf?

In local two-player play, Player 1 uses A and Player 2 uses L to make the timed selections.

Can you interfere with the rival?

Yes. A direct golf-ball hit can stun the other player for several seconds.

Can a golf ball affect your opponent?
