ABOUT BASKET SLAM DUNK 2

Basket Slam Dunk 2 makes the game's chaotic dunking physics more elaborate, with beach and rooftop courts, moving baskets and new cosmetic unlocks for players and balls.

Both solo play and a shared-keyboard contest are supported. The central test is timing one jump against a moving target rather than choosing a long series of passes or dribbles.

HOW TO PLAY BASKET SLAM DUNK 2

  1. Follow the changing basket height and press your player's jump key as it comes downward.
  2. Reach the rim with the ball and keep your body positioned for the finish.

Controls

  • Player 1: Press W to jump and shoot
  • Player 2: Press Up Arrow to jump and shoot

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Watch the hoop's full vertical cycle once before committing on a difficult target.
  • Near the rim, maintain the jump long enough to complete the movement.
  • In a local contest, vary the timing of your jump so the rival cannot always claim the same aerial space first.
  • If you reach the rim, keep holding jump long enough to hang there; a rebound can sometimes be nudged into the net with a tip-in.
  • Don't chase a hoop that is moving up. Start your jump as the target descends toward your height, then keep a controlled upward reach; waiting for alignment is often faster than chasing a missed chance.

FAQ

Does the second player need a full keyboard layout?

No. The local match uses W for Player 1 and Up Arrow for Player 2.

What is the main timing challenge?

You must commit to a jump while the target changes height, then adjust your hold so the ball reaches the rim.

Does Basket Slam Dunk 2 support a friend?

Yes. You can play alone or compete with someone using the same keyboard.

Can holding the jump input help near the rim?

Yes. When you have reached rim height, maintaining the jump can help complete the upward motion toward the basket.

Is picking a shooting angle the central mechanic?

No. This installment focuses on timing a character's jump against the hoop rather than adjusting a separate shot-power gauge.
