ABOUT AIR HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP DELUXE
Air Hockey Championship Deluxe sends a glowing puck over a neon air-hockey table. A controlled mallet must both guard your goal and hit the disc into the opposite slot.
The puck can ricochet sharply off the side rails, turning a seemingly safe center position into a wide-open angle.
HOW TO PLAY AIR HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP DELUXE
- Move the mouse or finger to reposition the striker inside your half of the table.
- Intercept approaching shots and attack when the disc crosses into your reach.
Controls
- Move striker: Mouse movement or touchscreen drag
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Deflect incoming shots at an angle.
- A bank off the side can return behind a rival guarding only the center lane.
- After a long diagonal return, recover the mallet toward the mouth of your own goal.
- Guard the opening before chasing a puck into an angle that leaves your goal uncovered.
- When the rival's mallet sits in the center, angle your hit into a side rail so the puck returns diagonally toward an unguarded part of the goal. If the shot misses, bring your striker back to your own net.
FAQ
Can you cross into the other side of the table?
Your controlled mallet stays within its own half.
Where may you move your striker?
Within your half of the table, following mouse or touch movement.
What makes the puck difficult to predict?
High-speed collisions with the walls can change its direction almost instantly.
Can a defensive return become an attack?
Yes. A well-angled interception can send the puck sharply toward the opposite slot.
Why can a side-wall shot be effective?
The rebound changes the puck's path before the opposing player can adjust.
