ABOUT AXIS FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Axis Football League brings playbook decisions into an American-football simulation. Choose a roster, call a rushing or passing play and then control the athlete responsible for carrying or defending the ball.
A balanced offense is central to success. Repeated long passes are easier to anticipate than an attack that alternates throws with running plays.
HOW TO PLAY AXIS FOOTBALL LEAGUE
- Select the tactical play before the snap.
- Move the active carrier using direction keys, throw to a designated receiver using the displayed key and dive into tackles when defending.
Controls
- Move active player: WASD or Arrow keys
- Throw to labeled receiver: Space / J / K / L as indicated over players
- Defensive dive tackle: Space
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Choose the play to suit field position, not only the one that scored in the previous round.
- When controlling the carrier, cut into a gap before the defense closes it.
- As defender, follow the active ball carrier.
- Alternate run plays with passes to prevent the defensive AI from waiting exclusively for interceptions.
- A team that throws deep every down is easy to predict. Call an interior run to challenge the front line, then pass once the defense must respect short yardage.
FAQ
How do you pick a specific receiver?
Press the letter or Space shown above the intended player.
What happens before the snap?
You choose a play from the available tactics, then control the athlete carrying or defending the ball.
When can an interior run help?
It forces the defense to respect short yardage rather than dropping every player into passing coverage.
Why make playbook decisions before the snap?
The formation determines which routes and running lanes will be available.
Why mix rushing and passing plays?
A defense that expects only long throws has an easier time cutting off your next attack.
